The iron globe is made out of raw iron and polished bronze and black with different sized holes punched in to let the war light through.The hole cut out at the bottom lets the beam of the light through to light up the space under the lamp. This lamp is perfect for lighting up entryways or bedrooms; it is also very appropriate for restaurants or intimate seating in lounges. The lamp comes with a canopy.

Can I put 3 or 4 of these onto a single base? What is the maximum wattage per fixture?

Max wattage is 60 W for base. -
Is this light rated for outdoor use? I bought it for our front porch--there is 4 ft of coverage at least. But our electrician said the electric inspector may want to see paperwork confirming outdoor use. Thank you!
