How is this table assembled? Do we need a workman to do so? In what kind of packages does the table ship?

The table base is driftwood logs  expertly assembled by invisible dowells and glue to form a base that can function as a coffee table base. The table base comes fully assembled and ready for us e after you have placed either a glass or wood piece as the top

How thick is the glass to be ?
