Are the bottoms of the lamps also covered/diffused or are they open with the bulb visible?

The ariel lamp does not come with a white cord cover. However, we mostly recommend that people add this cord cover to the lamp.

This comes in various colors and greatly enhances the look and feel of the chandelier.

We do have another item which is available and is hard wired.
