Description


For a rustic twist to your decor, pair a vintage lamp base made of a knot of Indonesian teakwood with a textured lamp shade. The natural teak wood base, sourced from prehistoric teakwood forests of the Bali Islands is polished just enough to highlight the aged structure of the wood. Care is taken to retain the natural, organic shape of the wood and styled to a elemental look. The cylindrical lamp shade, made of a woven jute linen cloth, that gives out evenly diffused light, completes a simple picture of home and hearth. This lamp is an excellent example of the "less-is-more" design ethic.
This piece is handcrafted and the color and wood structure may vary from piece to piece since teak wood can age differently along with the grain and different batches of wood.
