The Raw Edge Natural Onyx Bowl is extra-special and one-of-a-kind. Hand-carved from natural banded onyx, these cream-toned bowls boast lovely areas of translucency, veining in warm tans and browns, and a rough exposed edge of the mineral matrix from which each was cut. A conversation piece.

We know every customer has unique choices, so after you place an order, we can send you a picture of the actual onyx bowl which will be shipped to you. Once you approve the picture, we will ship the bowl. Each Onyx bowl is very unique and we want the customer to be happy with his purchase.

Onyx is a banded quartz of silicate mineral which has parallel bands, thanks to the growth of silica crystals. The alternating bands in white, dove grey, tan and browns is a testament to the age of the stone and the geological pressures on it. Most of our onyx is mined in Brazil, India, and Mexico and completely hand cut by artisans.

    PLEASE OPEN AND INSPECT ALL MERCHANDISE IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT. If there is any damage to any item delivered by freight or by truck, please do not accept the delivery and make a note of it on the delivery note offered by the shipping company for your signature.

    For Returnable items, you must notify us within five (5) days of receipt that you wish to return the merchandise.

    Re-stocking fees apply on return. Please refer to the Return Policy or contact us for full information.

    Shipping by Truck

    Orders shipping by Truck- Larger items are shipped by truck or freight. Truck shipments take an extra 1-2 weeks more than regular Fedex or UPS shipment. You will be sent the tracking number and you should be able to track the shipment on the trucking company website. The shipping company will call you at the telephone number noted on your order and schedule a delivery appointment a day prior to delivery.

    Upon arrival, please inspect your shipment thoroughly for any visible damages on the carton and equipment. The delivering carrier is required by law to make notations of the damages on the freight bill before you sign. The driver is required to wait for you to open the goods and inspect them. Please DO NOT SIGN THE FREIGHT BILL until a notation of the damage has been made on the face of the freight bill.

    If you sign a clean BOL then Modish Store cannot accept any damages later on. Please do not sign the BOL till are satisfied with the item and there being no damages. If the damage is significant, you may choose to not sign and refuse the shipment. If this does occur, please contact us regarding a replacement shipment.

    • I saw a very large bowl in a. Store in Florida. It was Similar to your raw edge free form onyx. Bowl but was 48” long by about 10” wide. It. Was sold and I am trying to find it .

Rearding your query on th Onyx Bowl, we do our own mining and producing of the onyx , so we can make anything - right from a stool to a table to a bowl of any size you want . It is just that it will take a longer time to get it from the mines to here in US . 

      If you are ready to wait appx 3 months or so then we can make any item in onyx which you want .
