Wood is a natural material with variations of color shade, configuration, streaks, and grain structure. Each individual piece of Safavieh furniture has characteristic markings that will differ from photo and showroom samples. Regular attention and maintenance of fine furniture can ensure its beauty for years to come. Always use felt pads under all articles to prevent discoloration or softening of the lacquer. Plastic and rubber bases on items can discolor wood. For wicker care; dust regularly with small brush or vacuum. Spills should be taken care of immediately before they harden or stain, by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Do Nt rinse with high pressure hose. Use a sponge with mild detergent and warm water to remove hard stain or soil. Allow it air dry completely before re-using. For upholstery care; to prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming or light brushing is recommended. Cushions and pillows should be turned on a weekly basis. Down-filled cushions should be brushed rather than vacuumed. Spot clean, using a mild water-free solvent or dry cleaning product. Only a professional cleaner should undertake a complete overall cleaning. The use of steam or water-based cleaners may cause excessive shrinking or staining.
Returns & Exchanges
PLEASE OPEN AND INSPECT ALL MERCHANDISE IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT. If there is any damage to any item delivered by freight or by truck, please do not accept the delivery and make a note of it on the delivery note offered by the shipping company for your signature.
For Returnable items, you must notify us within five (5) days of receipt that you wish to return the merchandise.

Shipping by Truck
Due to delays faced by Fedex, postal services and trucking companies due to the lockdown it may take upto 5 working days before the tracking number starts showing progress. The shipment may show no movement because the Fedex or trucking system is not updated. In case you need to contact us for the status of your order, kindly email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the chat function. Unfortunately due to high volume of calls, you may not be able to reach us on the telephone.

Ques - When does my order ship?
Ans - Small items ship by Fedex and the transit time is 1-2 weeks. Large size items ship by truck and transit time is 2-3 weeks
Orders shipping by Truck- Larger items are shipped by truck or freight. Truck shipments take an extra 1-2 weeks more than regular Fedex or UPS shipment. You will be sent the tracking number and you should be able to track the shipment on the trucking company website. The shipping company will call you at the telephone number noted on your order and schedule a delivery appointment a day prior to delivery.
Upon arrival, please inspect your shipment thoroughly for any visible damages on the carton and equipment. The delivering carrier is required by law to make notations of the damages on the freight bill before you sign. The driver is required to wait for you to open the goods and inspect them. Please DO NOT SIGN THE FREIGHT BILL until a notation of the damage has been made on the face of the freight bill.
If you sign a clean BOL then Modish Store cannot accept any damages later on. Please do not sign the BOL till are satisfied with the item and there being no damages. If the damage is significant, you may choose to not sign and refuse the shipment. If this does occur, please contact us regarding a replacement shipment.
